Hello and welcome!
We
live 20 min outside Thunder Bay in the beautiful boreal forest of
beautiful NorthWestern Ontario. We are
currently building on 32 acres of total privacy! Our dogs live
in the house as members of our family. All puppies are whelped and
raised in our house from birth til the time they leave at around 8-10wks
of age.
We are proudly active in conformation and breed only for the
betterment of these 2 breeds we love - the Miniature Pinscher
and the Great Dane. We believe in breeding only to improve,
enhance and carry on desired traits of the Miniature Pinscher and The
Great Dane. We strive for perfection in health... Temperament... Brains...
and Beauty all wrapped up in one package whether for competition or
just as your family pet and fellow couch potato.
We
abide strictly to the Canadian Kennel Club's Code of Ethics.
Loving the Miniature Pinscher breed since 2000, we later ventured into the
show ring and took group 4th at our very first show with a beautiful 6
month old puppy! we were Hooked!
I mostly owner-handle my dogs with the help from
my oldest daughter and the occasional help from a fellow minpin
enthusiast Debbie over at Dogriver minpins. We
have been very successful with Multi-group placings and Multi-best puppy
in group wins!
MINPINS - We are proud to say that
we are raising and showing all the accepted colours the miniature
pinscher comes in; Red, Stag Red, Black/Rust and
Chocolate/rust. Unfortunately we are one of the only show
kennels in Canada to raise and show the Chocolate Miniature
Pinscher. As a responsible breeder that not only cares about
this breed, but cares about EVERY acceptable colour this breed comes
in, I have made it my goal to join the few that
are working on improving the conformation of chocolates and I
refuse to let them be left at ringside.
To those looking
for show prospects; Some of my Miniature Pinschers carry
the liver gene (chocolate/Rust). If you are looking for a show dog that does
not carry this coat colour gene, I will be happy to recommend you to
another breeder. I do DNA my minpins for coat colour inheritance and
know which ones carry for chocolate and which ones do
not. I disclose this information on each dogs
individual page. For more information regarding chocolate minpins,
Visit our page: 'Why
Chocolate?'
GREAT DANES - Our goal is to raise and show the best
quality BLUE and BLACK Great Danes we possibly
can. We are currently planning our first Dane litter and are
very excited!
ABOUT OUR BREEDING
We only breed a litter
when we are looking to add to our family, breeding program and for
the show ring. Sometimes we have a few litters planned for the
year and sometimes only one. It just depends on what
we are looking for. I charge only a fraction for puppies what I
actually spend on caring, training, showing and health testing our dogs in
order to have a successful
HEALTHY litter.
So take a look around and feel free to contact me with
any questions you might have regarding these wonderful breeds or the sport
of canine competition!
Take care,
Desera at
Dazzleme!

Its
truly a family affair!
